Natural truffle weight is not treated as an exact standardized psilocybin dose. Instead, and this is unique amongst non-clinical retreats, the psilocybin concentration of the batch used at each retreat is measured directly through spectrometry and participant doses are calculated in milligrams of psilocybin, so the amount of truffle material can be adjusted to reach an intended dose rather than assuming a fixed batch potency; the assay and its validation are described on <a href=\"\/safety\/psilocybin-truffle-dosage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">psilocybin truffle dosage<\/a>. Participants may decline or choose less, while Evolute may refuse to facilitate an amount or booster it considers unsafe.
